This week will follow a similar pattern to last week with a damp start and turning more settled towards the end of the week and over the weekend. Although it will dry up by midweek it will remain mostly cloudy but hopefully a few sunny intervals will develop on Wednesday.
After a wet start to the week it should dry up as the week progresses with some sunny intervals developing but it will remain cold. By midweek the wet weather, which will be wintry especially on higher ground, will become more showery.
The settled weather looks like hanging around for most of the week and into the weekend with good spells of sunshine expected with daytime temperatures climbing to the mid-teens on most days.
The week ahead after a damp start and a few showers on Wednesday is looking mostly dry with some sunny intervals on most days.
There will be a lot of cloud around during the week with some rain which could be heavy at times during the latter part of Wednesday.
After a wet start to the week we can expect a few dry days but more wet weather will also still feature in the forecast.
At times this week it will once again be wet and windy especially midweek when we could see heavy rain and wind gusts over 40mph which could turn wintry leading to snow and sleet on Thursday.
Once again we are set for another spell of windy weather when wind speeds midweek could reach 50mph and on Wednesday will likely be accompanied by rain which could turn wintry at times.
