It's the start of the October school holiday week here in Stirling which means we have a small number of electricians off on holiday with their families.
We have been very busy of late so the electricians that are working this week will be working wonders completing all our jobs and continuing the super service that they carry out. This time of year also gives us time to reflect and and then prepare for the long winter months ahead where we hope but also expect to be busy with our usual faults, maintenance and testing work. We have also been working on improving our current services and also working on new services that we hope will begin soon. It's busy and at times hectic here but it sure is interesting and exciting....just what we need to keep us going through the cold dark nights ahead. 9/10/2014 Another Year BeginsJust thought I would post and say that our 19th year in business begins today.
We turned 18 yesterday after our first ever job was carried out at Smiths Restaurant, Millhall, Stirling on 8th October 1996. 7/10/2014 We Are Here To HelpWe recently carried out a small job to repair lights for an elderly lady from our village. The lady turned up at our office the day after the work was completed to pay her invoice.
She had arrived at our office to pay the invoice that she had not even received yet as we were still processing her paperwork, she said that we had done such a good job that our service should be rewarded by quick payment. She was even more pleased when we told her the amount to pay and it was lower than she was expecting. Happy customers who pay within 24 hours are the type we like. 6/10/2014 Making Life SimplerOur Saturday Service is proving popular.
Saturday Jobs at Weekday Rates - Get those small electrical jobs around the home completed on a Saturday at normal rates. #SameRateSaturday Stirling Electrical Services have teamed up with The University of Stirling Residential Services Office to offer special discounted rates* for the inspection and testing of portable electrical appliances that students bring with them from home into the University. *Since discounted rates already apply to students' appliance testing, no further discounts can be applied.
We carry out the inspection and testing of students' own appliances brought into the halls of residence, both at The University of Stirling and at residences outwith the campus. We can even test the appliances at our premises in Fallin while you wait, if you prefer to bring them to us. Examples of the appliances requiring testing are :- television, radio, toaster, computer, printer, lights, chargers, extension lead etc. The University of Stirling require students to ensure that electrical equipment brought into their rooms have been inspected and tested to meet health and safety standards. To book the testing of your electrical appliances within your new University Residence visit our Students Page. |
